Range of Color is part of an ongoing exploration of Minnesota’s Iron Range, focusing on the culture surrounding the mining industry. Its artifacts when used as metaphors reflect that culture in transition. Range of Color, references the mixture of colors found on the Range including objects in decay, in the earth or water, or on mining sites.
